Landowners
Landowners…
One of our goals is to support and work effectively and collaboratively with landowners to achieve the vision.
Pest Free Banks Peninsula have a dedicated Landowner Liaison Officer (Hollie Hollander) to work alongside the Pest Free Field Team and the landowners on the Wildside.
Hollie works ahead of the field team to complete the paperwork (a property Access Agreement and a SSSP (Site Specific Safety Plan) and we talk the landowners through these documents.
It takes about an hour to explain the project and get the paperwork in place, so the landowners time is much appreciated.
The important things are to determine which tools you are happy with, and we have many to choose from.
This is the current list: Kill Traps, Live Traps, Leghold Traps, Cameras, Highly Trained Possum dogs & bait stations with a range of toxins.
Without the support of the community, we wouldn’t be able to access private land and accomplish the goal of possum elimination.
So, we really appreciate your time and participation.
If you live in the operational area of the Extended Wildside, then you can expect a call from us.
Once the tools and devices are in place on your property, we can send you a map of where they are.
